The EAP is a service designed to assess employee productivity and morale

CIGNA Behavioral Health offers a nationwide network of
psychologists, social workers and certified substance abuse counselors who
provide confidential face-to-face assessment, brief therapy, and
referral-to-treatment for employees and their dependents. EAP counselors
act as patient advocates by helping participants define the problem, by
identifying the treatment needed, and by directing participants to the
most appropriate resource.
